This was such a unique experience for us during our visit to Shizuoka.

Myself and a friend booked this trip thinking we would get off the beaten path, and we were certainly not disappointed.

It was amazing to see the city, countryside, and tea fields from this unique perspective.

The biking was difficult (mostly because of the hot weather) but our guide Hiroko did a fantastic job of making sure we got where we needed to be without issue. She also did a great job explaining things, pointing out key sites, and translating when needed.

The tea farm visit was a highlight – we learned a ton and had the chance to try some really incredible teas.

I highly recommend this experience if you are active, interested in getting outside the city, and especially if you love tea and learning more about the growing and brewing process.
