Tea Experience at at the tea master’s room
Visit Ura-senke Tea “Shihan”= Master, Mr. Soko KUWAYAMA’s house.
There are 3 traditional tea ceremony in Japan. (Omote-senke, Ura-senke, Mushakoji-senke)
Lecture about tea ceremony and tea room, how to consider and behave in a tea room, and enjoy tea ceremony in his tea room. (about 90 minutes). Chairs are available.
He is a “Shihan”=master of Ura-senke Tea Ceremony School.

Miho Pine Tree Grove

Nihondaira Yume Terrace Observatory
Nihondaira Plateau awarded one of top 100 Japanese tourist attractions. From this observatory, you can view Mt.Fuji, town of Shimizu, Shimizu port, Miho Pine Tree Grove,Izu Peninsula, Japanese southern Alps. more detail
Note:
◇Please understand that it depends on the weather whether you can see Mount Fuji or not at Nihondaira Yume Terrace or Miho no Matsubara.
◇At the tea master’s house, there is a possibility that their students might be practicing tea ceremony.
In this case, you can see how they are learing and might be served tea from them.
◇Due to the limited number of participating at once, we accept only 1group bookings per day.
Itinerary — If you start at 9:00 a.m.
09:00 a.m. – meet with our guide at Shimizu Port and start your tour
09:20 – 10:00 – Nihondaira Yume Terrace / Miho no Matsubara (Please select one oh these.)
10:30 – 12:00 – Tea Ceremony
01:00 p.m. – arrive back at Shimizu Port, the tour ends
