Blog posts by Shizuoka University Students are coming!

Hello everyone.
This is Emu, a staff member at Local Travel Partners.
Thank you for reading this post.

We are honored to announce the launch of a series of articles by Shizuoka University students introducing Shizuoka.
We hope you enjoy their posts.

Nice to meet you!
— we are the Yamamoto Laboratory from the Faculty of Global Interdisciplinary Science and Innovation at Shizuoka University.
In our Laboratory, we research tourism about Shizuka. We are particularly interested in researching how Shizuoka can increase the number of tourists from overseas. We recently had the opportunity to take over the Shizuoka travel blog from Tokoha University, and we are grateful for this role. The previous writers created a wonderful blog, and we hope to continue their efforts with the same care and enthusiasm. To start with, we would like to introduce ourselves for you.

Hello. My name is Haruka.
My hobby is watching basketball games, and my dream is to go to Amerika to watch the NBA in the future. I’m currently studying English to prepare for that. I’m planning to introduce many attractive tourist spots in Shizuoka. Shizuoka is a wonderful city, so please take a look at our articles when you are free.

Hi! I’m Mina.
I love eating ramen noodles and many other foods. I always get lost—but that’s how I find the best food and the best places to eat. I hope our blog can inspire you!

Hi, I’m Naru.
I’m from Shizuoka prefecture. I like to play volleyball and watch a lot of sports. I have played volleyball for thirteen years. I like to study languages such as English, Chinese, Spanish, and French. I want to travel around the world in the future.

Hello, I’m Dan.
I’m a big fan of sports and especially enjoy playing baseball. I also like going to hot springs with my friends as a way to relax and refresh myself.

Hello, I am Leo
I like to take walks in the city, and when I have time, I walk around the area I visit for the first time alone. I also like coffee, so I’m looking forward to finding a coffee shop or café while walking around the city.

Hi, I’m Tomo! I’m from Toyama, which is known for its beautiful nature. I love both listening to music and playing it. I also like eating delicious food. Recently, I had a carbonara in Italy, and it was so delicious that I was really impressed!

We appreciate your continued interest, and we look forward to sharing Shizuoka’s charm with you.
