Fabulous Half-day with Rie!

Communication before the tour was excellent with reminders and confirmations, and they were ready and waiting for us as we departed the ship.

Rie was our guide and she was as kind and cheerful as can be! She imparted her knowledge about the history of Japan and this area, told folk tales, and even shared a song about Mt Fuji. The clouds did not cooperate and Mt Fuji never came into view, but thanks to Rie, we enjoyed a fun half-day despite our disappointment.

Our driver was also courteous and made us feel safe and well cared for.
