Stunning Shimizu Scenery

Great shore excursion.
Picked up promptly from the port (the provider even adjusted our times to coincide with the change by the ship).
We visited the beautiful 400 year old Kunozan Toshogu Shrine arriving via the ropeway.
Next we climbed the Nihondaira Terrace Observatory to view Mt Fuji.
Despite blue skies, we had low cloud obscuring the mountain.
However, while viewing the green tea field, the clouds parted and the stunning Mt Fuji became clearly visible.
Our third stop was to Miho beach and the Pine Tree Grove with more classic views of Mt Fuji.
Both our guide “Hero” and driver were excellent – exceptionally clean vehicle and careful driving, and Hero had great information and stories to add to our tour.
Highly recommend this tour if cruising. Lots of sites were covered in the time frame.
