Mt Fuji is spectacular

A wonderful tour with Hiro. Our journey included a Shrine on a mountain side. Got there in a gondola and navigated many steps but it was beautiful. Hiro gave us the history of the Shogun who united Japan and his burial plot. Those steps were tricky, unusually step higher than average and lots of them. We got quite the workout there.
Mt Fugi graced us with her presence. It’s an amazing suite that took us days to see. We also went to a unesco heritage site where we could see the mountain, pine trees and the beach. Hiro was an excellent historian and very knowledgeable about the area around Shimizu Port.
I highly recommend this tour. Even the roads we traveled were exciting and scary!
